Lacoste presents F/W collection

8/30/2016

Glorious trio – that’s how new LACOSTE collection can be characterized. With brand’s aesthetics, laid by Rene Lacoste, in mind, creative director of the French brand has underlined three main themes for F/W 2016-17 season, considering the radical difference between early autumn and mid-winter weather. “Nautical look”, “French Flair” and “Zero Degrees” lines perfectly add up and bring diversity to the wardrobe of modern men and women, offering many combinations of elegance, sport and fashion trends.
Classics, 90s aesthetics and modern colour blocking are the foundation of “Nautical Look” line of LACOSTE fall-winter 2016-17 collection. Combining strength with lightness, and bold colours with refined lines, Felipe Oliveira Baptista creats an extremely modern start of the season with mild reference to 90s fashionistas.006_LACOSTE_LIVE_FW16-17_Womenswear_Look_Book.jpg

Lightweight T-shirt from jacquard cotton, breathing jeans, navy blue trench, polo in red-white-blue stripes and graphic ones from pique fabrics – items from men’s line are easily combined with each other creating sporty, casual and even business looks. Polo T-shirts with three-coloured collar with minimalistic rubber crocodile send us straight back to the sporty spirit of 90s.

Women’s line also pays its respect to the sport style combining it with urban chic and playing with details. Feminine denim shirt-dress, white-blue sweater with gabardine cotton trench, red sweatshirt with relaxed cut and perfect geometry of colour blocks in the polo-dress – every item is full of nautical spirit and elegance.

“French Flair” line of LACOSTE’s new collection speaks to the refinement of classical tennis style: stripes, pleats and embroidered crocodiles refer to the history of the legendary brand. Grey wool jackets paired with polo and burgundy chinos, elegant trench over tennis sweater and comfortable trousers – such combination of legacy and modernity will be highly appreciated by stylish habitants of the big city. The center of the women’s line is black-grey pleated skirt – winter’s answer to tennis classics. It is completed by refined striped sweaters, comfortable running pants and long double-sided green coat, which makes even sport look seem elegant.

The best style for cold winter is multi-layered, and the best materials are those warm enough for the lowest temperatures. This idea underlies “Zero Degrees” line of LACOSTE fall-winter 2016-17 collection, suited for the frosty weather. Comfort can be stylish – argues Felipe Oliveira Baptista and proves it with elegant coats, semi-sportyparks, cozy jackets, which will look equally good in urban and mountain winter landscape. Women’s line impresses with striped knitted dress with splashes of bright colours, bold one-coloured sweaters, hybrid parkas and warm tweed coats. Classic winter colours – navy, burgundy, grey and khaki – are complemented by bright shades of yellow, blue and red in this line.
